I just
finished my thirteenth fiction/romance manuscript which I’ve very
recently decided to spin into a trilogy. I’m working on the second book
right now. I hope to finish the entire trilogy by New Years. I usually
work fast so I fully anticipate meeting this goal with champagne and
fireworks! 2008 here I come!
I’m also
working on a new story concept. It’s a blend between historical and
contemporary. Lots of in-depth, technical research and careful plotting
involved, but I look forward to the challenge!
I entered my first contest, TARA, this summer. I didn’t final, but
the judges’ comments were very warm and encouraging. Please see my

I’m awaiting
news from the Golden Rose contest which I also submitted Fox & Hound
to. Finalists will be announced September 29. Right around the
corner! I submitted the first chapter, synopsis, and favorite scene of
my thirteenth manuscript to the Harlequin Superromance Conflict of
Interest contest, but submissions are still open (writers, see
www.eharlequin.com if you’d
like to enter; there’s still plenty of time). Finalists won’t be
announced until December. It’ll be a long wait…. Until then, I’m
thinking about entering the Brava Novella contest, but I don’t think I
can write an entry and get it sent off by the September 30th
deadline. That’d probably require more than a miracle, and I’m running
low on magic at the moment.
Other than
that, I’m looking forward to my release date for Fox & Hound and
my first cover! They’ll both be posted on my website as soon as they’re
