The first month of the year has passed very quickly. I’m halfway through the third book in the Louisiana trilogy. I plan to finish it by the end of February. The plot is rolling smoothly. My hero disappeared for a couple of chapters, and I’m very happy to have him back! I’ve also already written the blurb for it. Most don’t do this until they query agents or editors, but it helps me remember what the book is about so I don’t stray from the premise. It turned out very well and I can’t wait to use it! 

My goal to be more business assertive this year is already being put to use. I now have a tentative release date: late February/early March! I plan to advertise in the RWR and a few other romance magazines. I still don’t have an editor yet, and I’m trying to work that out with the publisher. Time’s ticking!  

An editor from TWRP requested a partial of the first book in my trilogy! I can’t wait to hear back from her. I would really love to sell these books. They are so special to me!  

I’ve updated my BLOG to include a link to my new MySpace page and the book trailer I created for Fox & Hound. Make sure to check it out and leave a comment to tell me what you think! One of my articles will be featured in a spring issue of the Silken Sands newsletter. I might also participate in an author spotlight on another blog. I’ve learned that I could possibly be featured in a local newspaper when Fox & Hound releases. I can’t wait! 

Hopefully by the next time I recap, I’ll have a finite release date and edits will be done!
